The ExtraOrdinary Metal Collection was the new Alessi’s Collection, created and composed sampling each design icon through special sound design techniques based on the Fibonacci sequence.
The collection was pure sound. A real Orchestra of design.

Con
cept
The Idea
To reflect the needs of Alessi’s Collection to reveal the proportional elegance of Nature, this Soundtrack was composed through the Fibonacci Sequence. Obtaining for each number, a frequency, following this pattern, sample by sample. The two fundamental points were [1] the material used, brass, and the [2] goldsmith's technique of decoration that faithfully reproduced the Golden Ratio.
The Process
Starting from the Etruscans to the present day, to translate the decorative technique used to create the Alessi collection into music. This allowed the realization of a sound design project faithful to the customer's expectations.

The Soundtrack has become an itinerant performance during concerts, talk shows and music festivals.

The sound design project was carried out with 5 different sound sampling techniques, and microphones built specifically to capture the most imperceptible sound nuance.
