Costa Cruises wanted something different. The Company wanted to embrace its passengers with a unique pieces of art. So the reflection was immediate: a cruise ship, it is an immense musical instrument, let's turn the navigation into a soundtrack.
A ship is like a marine mammal. A soul and hidden sounds to discover.

cept
The Idea
How many sounds make up the melody of a Costa cruise? There are infinite emotions that can be transformed into sounds, into an original story to inspire.
The Process
The Artist embarked aboard a Costa ship, having access to even the most reserved areas, from the engines, to the command deck, recording for each place, the characteristic sound, tuned to the notes of the sea.

Sound–
track
The sound of the sea caressed by the ship's hull opens the sound journey by merging with the operational sounds of the command deck. The iconic siren sound has been tuned, and has become the melodic line of the soundtrack. The engine area has been transformed into the beating heart, rhythm, of the sound work. Lifts, stairs, smiles, fun, everything has a sound, and it has become music.
Sound
More than 6000 sound samples collected during navigation. From the propeller shaft to the siren of the highest bridge. All sounds have become the Costa Crociere original soundtrack.
